Apprenticeship Programs

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Citizen or Legal Alien (INS)
  • High School Diploma or GED (Electrical)
  • Pass a drug screen
  • Interview with committee


The Craft Training Center of the Coastal Bend is approved by the Texas Veterans Commission to receive benefits under the Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 30), Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33), Selected Reserve Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 1606), and Dependents Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 35).

  • Qualify for benefits under one of the accepted programs
  • Have available Veterans funds to cover tuition costs
  • Pass a drug screen
